Must Have Hair Products

Hello Lovely Ppl,

I am back and for good this time.....hopefully.

Anyway so 2 things:

First, I am extremely sorry for the long delay and for not posting.

Second: Let's get started with the post already!

So Todays post is about some of the main products which you should have in your Hair Products Bag, or whatever you guys call it.

I have used these products which I am showing to you and I have gone through them to make sure that these are correct and that they are affordable.

Note: I may have missed out some so if I have pls let me know in the comments x

1. Hair Spray

I have chosen two here bcz I like both of these and have re-purchased many times as I think they are of a great price and have great quality. They keep my hair up in the style that I want it to stay in and I don't have to do it again. Plus, they brush out easily which I really like as I don't have to spend ages trying to get it out.

2. Hair Lotion

I'm not sure if other brands do this too but I know that TRESemme definitely do as I have got it myself. That one is called 'TRESemme 24-hour Body Hair Lotion'. You put this on before blow drying your hair and massage it into your hair. This will give your hair the volume that you want it to. It will style your hair even if you don't want to straighten or curl it.

I really like this as it does exactly as they tell you in the description and would definitely recommend it.

3. Hair Mousse

This is so your hair doesn't go all frizzy all of a sudden and it stays in place. WARNING: This will make your hair go greasy the next day/a while later if you end up putting quite a lot on. So don't say I didn't warn ya,

However, it does help as it smoothes down your hair and calms it down. The frizz is nowhere to be seen and you can have a frizz-free look. I don't even know if 'frizz-free' is a word. :D

 4. Heat Defence

Where do I start?

I use this spray ALL THE TIME! I am obsessed. I have got so many that I have lost track. This is a life saver and I do not know what I would do without it.

First of all you have to spray it onto your hair before you straighten or curl it and then it will reduce the heat which damages your hair. I think almost every hair brand does this spray and if they don't then that is not a hair brand.

You can even purchase ones which are for blow drying which reduce the heat from your hair dryer. This is a MUST HAVE.

5. Dry Shampoo

What is a Hair Product Bag without Dry Shampoo?

Before I didn't like dry shampoo but then the more I used it, I realised how good it was. It also depends on what brand you use. I would recommend Batiste. If you haven't got time to wash your hair then dry shampoo will be like your 'Knight In Shining Armour' :D.

But seriously, BUY IT!!

Lilly Singh - Bawse Lipstick ♥

So Lilly Singh [AKA iiSuperwomanii] has gotten together with our favourite brand, Smashbox. Together, with Lilly's expertise, they have created an AWESOME new Lipstick.

Personally, I absolutely love the lipstick and purchased as soon as I could.

The fierce red shade is fab!

I highly recommend this product to anyone who likes an all day wear lipstick and doesn't like to do touch-ups.

I am also I HUGE fan of Lilly Singh. So a shout out to ma' girl!

So I need to make a new playlist urgently as my current one is full of old songs.

I'm not going to name them as you'll not pay interest in my posts anymore :D

Top 5 Under £10

Here in today's post Im going to be writing about Top 5 Under £10.

I know it's usually meant to be Top 10 Under £10 but I decided to change it a bit.

Let's Get Started.....

1. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush - £7-8.99
I find that this is THE best brush. I use it for literally everything. I also use it to blend out my foundation which I think it does a really good job at that. It also buffs at the same time which is really useful as I don't have to spend extra time doing.

2. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara - £7.99
This is an awesome mascara which I recommend to everyone. Even if you like mascaras which give a soft look, you'll love this. Or maybe even if you like a long, curled look, this will be great for you. This is definitely my type.

3. WHSmith Leopard Print Triple Pencil Case - £1.30 - £2.00

I'm not sure that this is the official name for this but I tried. Anyway, this pencil case is sooo handy. You can put whatever you want in it. You can use it as a mini makeup bag or as a pencil case. I obviously use it as a pencil case because even if I needed a mini makeup bag, this would be TOO small! ♥  This pencil case has got two large compartments on each side and a smaller one with a zip in the middle.

4. Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb - £2-3



 FABULOUS! That is my first word to describe this bath bomb. It is amazing!! As soon as you put it in the bath, it fizzes and there's sparkles everywhere. When lying in the bath, you can feel a smooth mixture moisturising into your skin ♥

5. New Look Floral Earphones - £4.99 - 5.30


Last but certainly not least, these gorgeous floral earphones. You can purchase these from New Look which other prints on them too. I got them a while ago and they work great and I get compliments from people every time I use them.

I definitely recommend these. ♥♥♥

NO MAKEUP PHASE! EEK!

OMG!

I cannot believe this!

This is the first time in my life that this has happened. I'm having a No Makeup Phase.

It's been at least a week now since I last wore makeup.

For me, that's like a year!

Soo long.

I want to wear it but then I feel too lazy!

Does that ever happen with you guys?

Anyway so I'll try to put it on today without fussing.

Just wanted to let you guys know about my problem xx :D

Blog Break

I know it's been a while since I last posted. Sorry xx

It's just that I've been really busy... Like a lot! I like never even get time to just sit down.

I don't even know what to post about and the thing is that there's no point in me blogging if I haven't got anything good to write about.

I'm going to take a break from blogging for a while but probably not too long. And don't worry I won't forget to come back... Hopefully! :D

Ready For School - Under 20 Mins

Have you ever failed at trying to get ready for school under 20 mins but you always go over time and end up getting ready in an hour.

Well today I'm going to tell you how to get ready in EXACTLY 20 MINS!
ALWAYS choose the clothes that you'll wear, the night before.

First you need to get out of bed :D

1. Turn your straightener/curler on and put it on a heat protectant mat. Its a mat that you get with your straighter/curler to stop it from burning the bed or your desk.

2. Go into the bathroom and wash your face, brush your teeth and go to the toilet. Do it all quickly but no too much that you've got toothpaste all on your face.

3. Put on your clothes but not shoes yet.

4. Straighten/curl your hair but put on a timer on your phone for 10 mins. NO MORE!

5. Put another timer on for your makeup: 5-7 mins.

First put some BB/CC Cream onto your hand and rub it onto your face.

Then use a concealer and quickly dab it wherever you've got spots.

Use a concealer brush to blend.

Powder over it all.

Then use a hint of blusher as your going to school, NOT A PARTY.

If you like to wear eye pencil/kajol then go for it.

Then mascara.

And finally Lipstick (a hint) or lip gloss.  Maybe even lip balm.

6. Now organise your school bag and make sure you've got all of your books for the day.

7. Put your shoes on. If your going by tram or bus, wear trainers/pumps but take your normal shoes to change later.

8. Go and have a quick BUT HEALTHY breakfast.

9. Grab your bag/coat and go to school!

10. HAVE FUN!

Easy Everyday Hairstyles

How've you guys been?

Anyway so today's post is about Easy Hairstyles... This could be for work or school or maybe for just a normal/lazy day at home.

1. A High Pony Tail

This is really good for a hot day and it makes you look fresh even if your not. It keeps all of your hair out of your face even if your hair is short. With long hair it looks really good!



2. A Messy Bun

This is one of my favourite hairstyles as it looks really good with almost every outfit. Once again, this too is great for work/school. The little hairs coming out don't bother you whilst working either.



3. Half Up Half Down

Im not really sure of the proper name for this hairstyle but tis is what I call it, The "Half Up Half Down" Hairstyle. This is where you get some of your hair and clip it back. This is ,my everyday hairstyle which I LOVE to do! It looks gorgeous with everything and on everyone.









4. Two Low Side Pony Tails

This is an awesome hairstyle for school. There was a point when I was obsessed with this. They look really cute and you can do plaits with them as well.

6. Mountain Climbing - A cold idea (get it. Haha... cold!)
7. Canoeing - If you like it, go for it
8. Decorate your house/room - I would LOVE♥ to do that... Makeover time
9. Speaking of Makeovers... Invite friends round and give each other Makeovers
10. Have a BIG PARTY!

And remember if you don't like to celebrate your birthday, then that's fine. No-ones forcing you to as it is your decision.

1. Miss Sporty So Matte Perfect Stay - £3.49

This foundation has really good reviews and an amazing price. All of the reviews I have read are saying great things about this foundation. It's the type that is matte but doesn't make your face look like you haven't put cream on. It's not too too dry.

This concealer has THE BEST reviews you have ever heard of. Even Zoella loves it. She uses it loads. And this is the type which will make you purchase it again and again.

I have been really liking this powder because it's not too drying and makes your foundation stay for long.

The price is great and so is the quality.

 

 

 

 



4. Miss Sporty Insta Glow Primer - £3.49

Tanya Burr has created a  gorgeous collection of makeup which consists of:

...I think that's it but if I have missed out anything then please leave a comments down below.

This collection has been sold all around the world(I think) to her followers/viewers and fans. They all constantly watch her inspiring YouTube Videos and have given her all the support she needs to help her get this far. This is why she has created this stunning ♥ collection. Like another famous Youtuber (Zoella) she has decided to go for a special theme.

Up on the picture above, it shows a Christmas Theme which was the time of year that these were released.

The eye shadows consist of sparkly and wintery colours to suit the weather. The nail polishes have been chosen as  dark and fiery colours to add a bit to boldness to your look.

Every part of this collection has been chosen selectively by Tanya Burr herself.  And I know that it is a bit late for me to be reviewing this collection but....Oh Well.

The moral of this post is that.... Tanya Burr is AMAZING and you should try out her collection if you haven't already.

In my opinion, her products have super cute packaging and I am loving the fab colours/shades that she chosen.

Best Highlighters - Reviews

Hey Guyz..

Itzz Post Day! And I haven't forgotten.. I need a medal for that :D

Anyway, so todays topic is...... Highlighters!!

For so long I have been rummaging through different stores looking or the "Perfect One". And I think everyone knows what I mean when I say "Perfect". Something that doesn't have any imperfections.. Well, we all know there isn't such a thing. But, you can find similar things.

Let's get started:

1. Highlighter Palettes:

A highlighter palette can easily be used as an eye primer or to go in the crease of your eye. They are really useful if you are looking to brush through a streak on your cheek or near your nose or eyes. I haven't really tried out any myself but from reviews I have read that they're really good.. Need to Try them x

e.g. Revolution, Freedom, NYX, MAC

2. Creams

If your looking to go for an all-over face highlighter then the cream ones are the best to use. You can use them as an ordinary day cream; just don't rub it too hard as your makeup may rub off. They give an instant glow to the skin making it look fresh.

e.g. Illamasqua (Don't know if spelled that right), Collection, MUA, Miss Sporty, NARS.

3. Powders

If you don't want to use a highlighter cream or palette as your worried your makeup could come off, then POWDERS are the best. They can give a matte finish to your face. They won't make your face look dry, unless you put on a lot.

4. Liquid

Liquid highlighters can be great for using after foundation before putting on any bronzer or blusher, OR even if you don't want any of that you can use it to just give a natural glow to your skin.

e.g. Benefits: High Beam

Me Being Stupid!

New x2 Schedule & Favourite Nail Polishes

Hiya Guyz...

I think that I might change my posting dates bcz I am really messing up as I keep forgetting which isn't good.

So I thought about it and now I have decided that my new dates for posting will be Friday and Sunday. And during the rest of the week I might do some extra posts to make you happy :D

Anyway, so todays post is about Nail Polishes...

I will be talking about which nail polishes I have used and which ones I like/dislike..

Moving on..

1. Sephora -

I have tried out 2 of the Sephora nail polishes and I am only liking one of them. I have got one is a bright red and the other is in a Khaki colour - If any of you don't know then it is a dull greenish colour.

I only like the red nail polish not because of the colour but because it is long lasting and doesn't chip quickly. The khaki one does. I really like that colour but it chips really easily.

I think that their ok...

2. Essie -

I haven't really tried out the Essie nail polishes as I am not the type of person to go out a buy a nail polish for £8 when I can get cheaper ones. I know most of you are probably like "But look at how good the quality is and the colours!". I know that but I don't what to waste my money on them.

Many people who have tried them said that they liked them and hat they have really food quality. Also that you can make a various amount of different designs.

Definitely recommend these..

3. Rimmel  London-

Again, these are the type that chip easily. I have quite a few of the Rimmel London nail polishes but they are not long lasting. The colours are gorgeous but quality isn't.

Buy one and try it out.. If you like them then GREAT! If you don't then SORRY!

4.  MUA -

I have got quite a few of the MUA nail polishes. They are in a bit of a small tube. But they have got quite a variety of colours. The quality isn't the best but they last a BIT longer than some of the others. And the price is mind-blowing! Only £1 for a nail polish.

Definitely recommend those.

That's it for today but I will make sure to carry on with my NEW schedule. I may not post this Friday and will post on Sunday or Saturday instead. The schedule will carry on as usual from next week.

Favourite Lipsticks

Sorry I didn't post yesterday!! I've been really busy lately but I will try my absolute best to not miss out on any more posts.

Anyway so today my post is about my favourite Lipsticks, as it says in the picture x

I will be talking about brands like:

• Rimmel London
• Max Factor
• MUA
• MAC

So lets start with MAC....

I will be talking about the Dazzle glass lip glosses instead.....

They are really good! I have one but it's not a shimmery one. Its a peachy and pinky colour. However, I don't wear it that much anymore as a bit sticky, you can't feel it on your lips and the applicator is a really WEIRD shape. It's like a paintbrush.

So I wouldn't recommend that.

Moving on...

Rimmel London:

Rimmel do nice, moisturising lipsticks for all types of people. They do matte lipsticks, glossy, moisturising, lip balmy and nudes.

I have got quite a few myself but my absolute fave is Kate Moss 08.

Definitely recommend this brand,

Next.....

Max Factor:

I haven't really got any Max Factor lipsticks - just got the lip glosses. I used one of their lip glosses for the first time and fell in love with it. It was a gorgeous Elixir pink in the shade Delightful Pink 40. I think I've still got it...

Recommend?...... No question about that

Last But Not Least....

MUA:

They do good lipsticks but the colour can be a tiny different to what they show on the outside. I am currently using one of their lipsticks in the Shade 11. It's a warm peachy brown and really moisturising. That is the only one which I am currently liking. I have tried out others but DID NOT LIKE THEM AT ALL!!

So wouldn't recommend that if you don't like vibrant colours... Just try out Shade 11.

New Schedule - Feeling Organised!!

Hiya ppl....

So it's been a while since I've blogged but now I'm back!!

Anyway, so today I've decided to blog about Lush. The UK'S No1 body store. AND the best shop in the universe..... Well for me it is.

When I go there the staff are so polite and friendly. They never get angry or annoyed if you keep asking them questions. 

Also don't be afraid to ask for samples or for them to test things out on you. If you do want samples bcz of your skin then they'll ask for you to sit down and talk for a consultation. Here they'll talk about your skin, daily routine and products which your interested in.

However they won't give PR products or samples. But just to be clear, contact Lush Customer service. 

Anyway so my point is that they are quite aware of making sure that their customers receive the correct products for their skin and are there for you if you need any assistance. 

ITS AMAZING!!

Q&A Part 2

Heyya guys,

So bcz of how many comments I've been receiving, AND bcz I promised you guys I thought I might do the Q&A now.

........Even though it's 10pm. Loll

1) Which is your no1 makeup/beauty store to go to and why?

A) I would say Superdrug. This is probably bcz they do almost all of the makeup brands including the really cheap ones. Also they are much cheaper than Boots.

2)  When are you going to start a youtube channel?

A) Not yet..... Sorry:(. Don't feel comfortable with it yet bcz I just feel as if I would look TOTALLY weird and freak out. I'll think about it though.

3) How do you get ideas about what to post?

A) Well.... I think about what the blog is to do with. This blog is about makeup/fashion/tips so I think about that. If I want to writ about makeup then I'll think of something that I haven't written about before. If I can't think of anything then I'll look at other beauty blogs and get inspired.

4) If you had to choose one of these which one would u choose: MAKEUP,JEWELLRY,HEELS. Btw you can't ever wear the rest of the options.

A) I would definitely choose makeup. Bcz tbh I don't wear jewellery as much as I used to before as many of my tops are patterned of already have a bit of jewellery designed on them. I don't really wear heels either.

5) What products would you recommend for a starter makeup kit?

A) A concealer/BB Cream, mascara, lip gloss, powder(maybe). In my starter kit I had all of these things but that doesn't mean you have to get them all too. Whatever you are comfortable with or whatever you are allowed. DON'T BUY IT IF UR NOT ALLOWED!

So as u all know today is April Fools and many of u will be pranking or getting pranked. Either way it's funny. Later on I will be posting what pranks and jokes I have played on people or if I have been pranked.

Q&A

Hellooo.....

So many of u guys have been asking me questions via comments or mail. I have decided to answer as many as I can in this post and I'll try my absolute best to answer the rest in my next few posts.

I know that this would've been much easier as a video but I don't think I'm comfortable with that yet. Sorry.... :(

Q) I have just recently started wearing makeup. What brands would you recommend which are cheap but good quality too?

A) "When I started wearing makeup I used cheap brands too because I didn't want to get something expensive when I could just get something similar but cheaper. I used: MUA, Collection, Revolution, 2true, NYC."

Q) Do you have any pets?

A) "No, unless your baby brother counts. Lol :D"

Q) Heels or boots?

A) "Boots. But sometimes I might wear heels with a small heel."

Q) What would you do if all he makeup in the world just disappeared and there was none left?

A) "I would improvise. Probably use something like cherries/ strawberries as lipstick or blusher."

Q) Have you ever dyed your hair or got highlights?

A) "No but I would like to get it dyed either a light brown or a maroonish type of colour."

Looking after brushes

Brushes:

This is very important when it comes to makeup. Without brushes our makeup would be going all over the place!

You need to look after your brushes and here are some tips about them:

• Use organisers to set them out properly.
• Wash them monthly or once every 2 months
• After using them on someone else make sure to clean them before using again
• Make sure no dust reaches brushes

These are the tips I could think of. Let me know what others there are too.
